- Ticket purchase data - name, email address, postal address, phone number and payment details, collected by our ticketing partner Ticket Tailor on our behalf.
- Newsletter subscriptions - name and email address submitted via the newsletter form on this website.
- Contact form messages - name, email and the contents of any message you send us via the contact form.
- Festival logistics data - accessibility requirements, volunteer information and any other details you choose to provide ahead of the festival.
- Technical data - IP address, browser type, device information and usage data, collected via cookies and similar technologies.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To fulfil ticket orders and provide entry to the festival.
- To send festival information, schedules and updates relevant to your ticket.
- To send you our newsletter, where you have subscribed.
- To respond to your enquiries.
- To plan accessibility, accommodation and on-site logistics.
- To advertise the festival on third-party platforms (see Cookies & Analytics).
- To comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis
- Contract - to fulfil our agreement with you when you purchase a ticket.
- Consent - for newsletter sign-ups and non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest - to run, market and improve the festival, and to keep our site secure.
- Legal obligation - where we are required to retain or disclose data by law.
5. Sharing Your Data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with trusted processors who act on our behalf:
- Ticket Tailor - our ticketing platform, which processes ticket orders and payment information on our behalf.
- Payment processors engaged by Ticket Tailor for the purpose of completing the transaction.
- Where required, An Garda Síochána, regulators or other authorities.
We do not pass your data to other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Retention
We retain ticketing and financial records for as long as required by Irish tax and accounting law (typically six years). Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form messages are retained for up to 24 months. We will delete or anonymise personal data when it is no longer needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase your data (the right to be forgotten), where applicable.
- Restrict or object to processing.
- Data portability - receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
